Process

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Got questions we didn't answer?

Our team is built to move — reach out and we'll get back to you same day.

Do you work with developers or property managers — or both?

Both. Developers bring us in early — during naming and pre-construction positioning. Property managers engage us when a property needs a refresh, a lease-up push, or ongoing content. Either way, the work is the same: make the property impossible to ignore.

What does it look like to work with you?

One point of contact. One studio handling strategy, design, and production. You don't manage a vendor list — you work with a creative partner who knows your asset and moves fast.

Can you handle our project if we're outside of Los Angeles?

Our team is primarily based in LA but we do have team members spread across the country to support our properties. We've created and supported brands across California, Washington, Colorado, Montana, Texas, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.

Can we work with you if we already have a brand?

Yes. We work with existing brands regularly — whether that means a full refresh, extending the brand into new materials, or picking up where a previous agency left off. We'll tell you honestly if what you have is working.

What does the process look like from first call to launch?

We start with a discovery call to understand your property and goals — gaining deep project knowledge as if we're a partner on your team. From there we scope the work, align on a brief, and move into creative. Most projects follow a clear path: research, concept, refinement, delivery. No surprises.

Do you collaborate with interior designers for new developments?

Yes — and we prefer it. The best branded environments happen when the creative team and the interior designer are working from the same vision. We've partnered with interior design firms on projects across the country and know how to plug into that process early.

How long does a typical branding project take?

Most brand projects run six to eight weeks, depending on scope and how quickly decisions get made on your end. Placemaking research adds time upfront, but makes everything downstream faster. Once branding is completed, the rest of the scope can be executed in tandem in our design studio.

How many design concepts do we get?

Two. Each concept is fully developed — not a logo sketch, but a complete brand in action so you can see exactly how your property will look and feel before you commit.

Do you offer ongoing support after the brand launches?

Yes. Most of our clients stay with us after launch for website updates, signage, social media, content production, and new marketing materials as the property evolves. We're built for long-term partnerships.

Do you manage our social media accounts or just produce content?

Both. We offer full social media management — strategy, production, posting, and reporting — or content-only packages if you have someone in-house handling the rest. We'll recommend what makes sense based on your team and your property.

Do you offer retainer services rather than individual services?

Yes. We offer both. Our branding and design services are primarily one-time fees, while ongoing clients typically move to a monthly retainer covering content, social media, and website support. For properties that need continuous creative support, we offer an Unlimited Creative retainer — a dedicated team without the overhead of hiring in-house. We'll scope it based on what your property actually needs.
